AYSO Families and Friends-
have had a great Spring Season. It is time to start
registration for next year - Fall 2016 / Spring 2017. We are
excited to announce complete online registration is available.

are excited to announce that online payments will be accepted
this year- we will continue to accept other forms of payment
as described in the flyer, but we encourage everyone who is
able to submit their payment online. This will make
registrations and team assignments much more efficient for

year's season. We need you! Please help us in supporting our
program. Ask Board members or staff members what you can do to
help and we will find a place for you.
2016 Season Update – Schedules Posted!

to the left to see the schedule for your division. Games begin
the weekend of April 22/23 – your team's coach should be
in touch with you in the next few weeks (if you haven't heard
from them already) to tell you the date for your first

2016 Season Update – New Header Rules!
may have seen the news that the national AYSO organization
announced new rules regarding headers in AYSO.
new rule is: intentionally playing the ball with the head
is banned from all practices and games for players in all
divisions U12 and below. U14 divisions can practice
headers for no more than 30 minutes per week, with individual
players limited to no more than 20 headers per week.
new rules apply for divisions U14 and younger. The

PICTURES AT LINDEN GROVE MIDDLE SCHOOL – September 26,
All teams will have team
pictures taken AT LINDEN GROVE MIDDLE SCHOOL between 8:30 AM
and 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 26. Please note- pictures
are NOT at the Drake Road soccer complex. Linden Grove is on
Arboretum Parkway, very close to the fields- from the soccer
complex exit, take a right on Drake, then right at the first
light (Arboretum) and Linden Grove Middle School will be on
here to find the time slot assigned to your team!
UPDATE – September 23, 2015
All divisions except for U5, U8
and VIP are currently full, and we have created wait lists.
The registration system remains open, so you can give us your
player applicant information in case a spot opens. If you are
interested in securing a spot in an open division or on the
wait list for a closed division, please complete the online
application by following the "player registration"
link on the left hand menu bar . . . And e-mail our registrar
to inform us about your desire for team or waitlist placement.
Additions will be made based on order of receipt of
registration and payment.
PLEASE NOTE that your
registration will be INCOMPLETE until we receive 2 printed
copies of your registration form, along with your payment for
$125 per player. For divisions at capacity, we will place paid
registrations on a waiting list as they are received. Funds
are held until your player is placed on a team.
Update – September 8, 2015
1. Start of the season –
Games will begin the weekend of September 11th and 12th.
Specific field schedules are now posted; divisions will play
on the same days as last year:
· Friday evenings –
U8 and U10
· Saturday mornings –
U5, U6, U12, U14 and U16-19
2. Team and coach
assignments – Teams were finalized last weeks and
coaches have been actively working on contacting parents. If
you have not yet heard from your child's coach, send an e-mail
to email@example.com and we will help bridge
3. Coach equipment and
player packet pick-up / equipment sales for coaches
COACHES – we will have
volunteers at the Drake Road complex from 6-8 PM on September
2, September 8 and September 10 to distribute team equipment.
Please plan on a visit to the soccer complex on one of these
dates to pick up your team equipment.
PARENTS- the shop will be open
during these times as well if you need to buy uniforms or
equipment for your players. We have white shorts, there have
been several inquiries given relative scarcity at sporting
goods shops around town.
3. Capacity – As
expressed in our recent communications to parents and posting
on the website, we are nearing capacity in several divisions.
We have closed registration for U5, U6, U8, U10, U12 and
U16-19 divisions. There are still available slots for U14 and
VIP divisions. For those divisions where we at capacity, we
will place additional paid registrations on a waiting list, as
they are received. Team placements and waitlist order will be
decided based on when applications were submitted and payment
was received. We will be in contact with parents as payments
are received, and indicate whether players were placed on
teams or on a waitlist.
4. Pictures – Team
photos will be taken this fall on Saturday September 26,
between 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM. Click
